VIRUS :(
So as I posted on my twitter, I said I was going to blog at least once a day. Unfortunately that isn't going to happen until I get my computer fixed. My desktop (where I do everything youtube related) has a virus and messes with all my google account stuff, everything I work with is connected to my google including this blog. If I use my desktop I can't even get on here to post something, which is why I'm on my mom's laptop for a quick minute to annhunce the technical difficulties. I'm doing everything I can to get the stupid virus off my computer since I don't have the moneyyyy to drop and get it fixed by the geek squad or something lol. Anyways, if I get the chance to use my mom's computer again, I'll try to post up something new on this blog. Sorry guys ! Really I am ;( I'm bummed... blah!

Review: E.L.F. Everyday Eye Palette + Swatches
First off, I know not to expect too much from E.L.F. eyeshadows, usually they run a little less in the pigmentation department and have a quite chalky texture. Usually E.L.F. eyeshadows aren't recommended for blending either. I've been purchasing from E.L.F. for about 4 years now, so I know a little bit about their products. At first glance I wasn't really impressed with the color choices on this palette, lots of neutrals, then a couple random purples and a dark navy blue.
As far as pigmentation goes, all the shimmer shadows are decent. But for the matte colors, an absolute thumbs down. They also are very chalky and it's very hard to pick up color. One of the natural shimmer shadows reminds me of the color 'Sin' from Urban Decay. Primer is recommended if you use these shadows, but they aren't very long lasting so I don't suggest wearing it all day, maybe for only a few hours.
Swatches:
I would recommend this palette to those just starting out with makeup and don't know too much about it. But for those who've been around makeup and know about quality stuff, don't go for this.

Quick DIY Sugar Handscrub
So my hands have been horribly dry and chapped from this winter season. It's so bad that my hands are stinging under hot water and when they are rubbed with soap. Finally I wanted to do something about it with some kind of home remedy and this is what I came up with, using the knowledge I know of exfoliation and moisturizing.
Things you will need:
- Sugar
- Water
- Moisturizing Hand soap
- Hand cream/Lotion/Moisturizer
Before washing your hands put a little bit of sugar in the palm, add a few drops of water and a pump of moisturizing hand soap. Scrub the sugar scrub all over the back and palm of your hands. Then wash the stuff off and finish with any kind of lotion or moisturizer you use for your hands and you will definitely feel a baby soft difference(:

Recipe: Simple & Easy Chocolate Truffles!
Hello my lovelies! I was experimenting in the kitchen yesterday and craving for a dessert. We didn't have much ingredients for me to play around with, but I only used very few products to make these reallllllly simple & delicious chocolate truffles. Hope you enjoy (: This recipe makes about 10 3/4 inch wide truffles.
INGREDIENTS:
- Bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips (I used Hershey's Chocolate Chips)
- 1/4-1/2 cup of milk
- Almonds, cookie crumbs(I used Keebler's Grasshopper chocolate mint cookies), or any other type of toppings you would like.
DIRECTIONS:
- Simmer water in a pot and place a large bowl on top of the pot of water. Make sure the bowl isn't touching the water.
- Put about 1/2 of the bag of chocolate chips into the bowl, and stir the chips until they start to melt. DO NOT put the stove on high heat because you will burn the chocolate. Low to medium heat is suggested.
- As the chocolate melts, pour 1/4 to 1/2 cup of milk into the bowl. The more milk, the softer the truffles will be.
- After the mixture of milk and melted chocolate come together as one, stick the bowl in the refrigerator for an hour or two, or until the mixture has firmed up.
- While you wait for it to cool, prepare the toppings you want to roll your truffles in on flat plates.
- When your mixture firms up and is still soft enough to mold, use a spoon to scoop the desired size and roll into a ball with your hand.
- Then roll your truffles into your toppings.
- Store truffles in the refrigerator to keep them firm and if you want them to last a couple days.

SICK SICK SICK ;(
Hey everyone! Ugh, I hate that I've been lagging on my videos. I've been sick lately and I hate it! I lost my voice on my birthday :/ and it's prevented me from doing videos, since of course I have to talk in my videos. So I've basically been drinking tea like crazy just to soothe this itchy throat. I have lots of videos in line ahead of me and I'm upset I missed out on make a new year's eve tutorial (I like to narrate my tutorials, so this is why I didn't make one). Had to update you guys about what's going on, since some notice the lack of frequency in the production of my videos. My apologies! I hope I get well soon so I can be back doing videos.

Make-up Tutorial: Breaking Dawn Inspired Eyes (Twilight Saga)
I was inspired by the movie Breaking Dawn from the Twilight Saga to create this dark look. I toned down the 'smokeyness' by using a dark brown instead of a black. Obviously it's not an everyday look for most, but if it's your style, feel free. This is most recommended for the evening.

CALLING ALL aspiring youtube gurus
To be honest, I made my youtube not only to make my own videos but also to network & learn from others. I would like to partner up or team up with other aspiring youtube gurus such as myself. I've seen some infamous gurus who are really good friends with other gurus when they live states apart. That's what i'm interested in doing, calling it like, "youtube bestfriends". They send each other gifts during the holidays, do swaps, and talk about each other in their videos.
I've been so interested to share to others about other channels and doing swaps or collab videos. But I haven't found anyone who is also interested in teaming up with me. So if you so happen to come accross this blog and you're interested in being featured in my videos and my channel, shoot me an email at megaxintense@gmail.com (:
