Winter Inspired Eyes Makeup Tutorial

I was inspired by winter snow and the winter night skies to do this look. It's a very glamorous look, definitely not preferred for everyday wear. I recommend wearing it to some holiday festivity or some kind of special event during the winter time.

This look includes: A shimmery white eyeshadow blended with dark blue cream shadow and matte navy blue shadow.

Hautelook Haul - Lorac + Swatches

As you've seen in the video, I purchased Lorac's Naked Lace Collection & a baked matte eyeshadow called Insider from Hautelook. The texture of each product feels like velvet, very high quality stuff. The pigmentation is decent, photo evidence below. The Naked Lace Collection is all shimmer, but the colors are gorgeous. The baked matte eyeshadow has a sheen to it, but it's still pretty, I wouldn't call it a matte eyeshadow though. The packaging is quite simple but very durable. Really cute too, all the products are compact and not bulky.

Two Eyeshadows: Negligee & Boudoir. One Blush: Rendezvous
A very shimmery cream and a shimmery brown. The blush is a very bright shimmery salmon pink.
 Baked Matte Eyeshadow: Insider

Outfit of the day : Nov. 15, 2011

I'm wearing a loose flowly long beaded blouse from Alley Kat. My black cardigan is from Wet Seal. My leggings if from Forever 21 and my booties are from Urban Outfitters. In my opinion it's a pretty dressed up look, but I wore it on a casual day of errands and family time. I honestly believe you can wear whatever you would like whenever you like, if it's your own personal style (: yayy my first outfit of the day done.

Personal Interest: Tazo Passion Tea

One of the plus sides of the tea is that it's caffeine free. I love this tea especially when it's hot and smells so strongly of cinnamon. You can get this tea at Starbucks as itself or added with Lemonade (which is also delicious on a summer day), but I prefer buying it at the store and making it myself at home. The color is so pretty, it's like a dark deep pink when you add it to water. It's a change comapred to the dark brown tea that I normally drink. I must say it's soooo soothing and it's recommended to drink when you are sick. I introduced this tea to my boyfriend and he's hooked, but then again he's also a tea fanatic, more than me. Just a quick thought of interest I wanted to share with you guys.

My First Impression of ELF's Flawless Finish Foundation

This is not a review on this product but just a quick thought when I got the product. I just recently purchased ELF's Flawless Finish Foundation in Buff from eyeslipsface.com ; the retail value is $6. Good bargain for a foundation. I have yet to try this product on my face and use it for an all day look, but I did play around with it on my wrist. The first thing I noticed about the product is the packaging, it's contained in a foggy glassy bottle and it dispenses with a pump. When I took some of the product out, I noticed some kind of perfumy fragrance, which in my opinion, dislike with any foundation. But the scent is bearable. I wanted to compare it to my Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in the shade 230, I swatched both of them side by side and they came out almost the same! The only subtle difference I noticed was that the Fit Me Foundation had more of a peachy undertone and the ELF's foundation had more of a yellow/gold undertone. I think I might do a video comparing the two, but first I need to do a full trial on this foundation to see if it causes any problems to my skin. Then I'll do a review and a comparison.

A blog to keep up with my beauty youtube channel!

So I decided to launch this blog to be a little more in depth and personal. I'll probably post more information here about some videos, I'll post reviews, I'll do outfits of the day on here, and maybe even post a little bit of my personal life here and there.

I figured that some could be interested in reading rather than watching the subjects in my videos. Plus, I think I can do way more detailed reviews on here. I'll be posting pictures in my blogs so it's a little more interesting. Hope you all enjoy! Thank you for the support xoxo
